SOVEREIGN DATUM VERIFIED / CONTROLLED ACCESS
DATUM V3 Protocol

Farm-level decentralization and template sovereignty. Farm constructs block templates on local Bitcoin Knots; encrypted DATUM transports shares upstream.

Pipeline Flow

  • Template Sovereignty: Farm constructs and audits all transactions; zero pool transaction censorship risk.
  • Standard Downstream Hardware: Existing ASIC and GPU rigs connect via normal SV1 to local farm gateway.
  • Controlled Admission: Port 28915 DATUM ingress protected; admission via pre-shared pubkey federation.

📡 5-Stage Architecture Pipeline

End-to-end dataflow from local farm hardware through local template construction to pool settlement:

Stage 1
Bitcoin Knots Node
Farm runs full node on LAN (:8332). Audits mempool and constructs block templates locally.
Local On-Prem
Stage 2
RATUM Gateway
Colocated daemon (~8MB RAM) polls Knots GBT, manages dynamic VarDiff, and attaches ABW v3 tokens.
Local Gateway Host
Stage 3
Downstream Fleet
Standard ASICs, GPUs, and CPUs connect via normal SV1 (:3333) to local gateway with zero custom firmware.
Local Farm LAN
Stage 4
Encrypted DATUM Uplink
Single outbound encrypted TCP session (:28915) securely streams share proofs upstream to Sentinel Prime.
WAN Encrypted Stream
Stage 5
Sentinel Prime PPLNS
Validates share proofs into continuous 8-day rolling window. On block solution, executes direct on-chain coinbase payouts.

📊 Transparent Fee Policy (0.25% Active Launch Promo)

No hidden fees, no silent changes. Pool fees are hardcoded into block coinbase templates and auditable on-chain.

30-Day Unique Miners Pool Fee Status
0 – 24 Unique Miners 0.25% (25 bps) CURRENT ACTIVE TIER
25 – 99 Unique Miners 0.50% (50 bps) Upcoming
100 – 249 Unique Miners 0.75% (75 bps) Upcoming
250+ Unique Miners 1.00% (100 bps) Long-term Cap

Anti-Gaming Rule: Tiers count unique payout wallet addresses, never worker names or connection counts.

14-Day Advance Notice: Any fee adjustment requires sustaining the threshold for 30 consecutive days and a mandatory 14-day advance notice.

⚖️ Why Work-Weighted PPLNS-8D Matters for ASICs

Traditional pools count raw share rows equally. This penalizes high-difficulty ASICs: submitting 1 share at diff 131,072 represents the same expected work as 128 shares at diff 1,024.

Work_j = Difficulty_j × 2^32

Our pool calculates reward shares strictly proportional to total expected hashes performed across the last 8 network difficulties of accepted work.

Coinbase rewards are split directly inside the block transaction (up to 512 outputs). Balances under the 546-sat dust limit roll up into the persistent owed ledger for subsequent block payouts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need custom firmware for BM-S3?

No. Standard factory stock firmware is 100% supported. The gateway automatically adapts the BTCB2 work header to what the ASIC expects.

When do mining rewards mature?

Per Bitcoin consensus rules, coinbase transactions require 100 block confirmations before funds become spendable on-chain.

What is the minimum payout threshold?

Minimum payout per block is 546 satoshis (standard Bitcoin dust limit). Sub-546 balances roll into the owed ledger for the next pool block.

Is this pool protected against block withholding?

Yes. Built on the DATUM protocol with anti-block-withholding assignment slots to protect all honest miners.
